Match Summary:
MVP: No.15 Saudi Arabia
The incentive in this match was to finish third or bronze medallist.
Saudi Arabia showed they were still the superior team compared to Kazakhstan
in winning for the second time. In a group match, Saudi Arabian edged
Kazakhstan 2-1 and this time it was 3-1. Comparatively speaking, Kazakhstan
played better in the earlier encounter with of course the incentive being a
place in the semis. Yesterday, the Central Asian side lacked fire and let
Saudi Arabia dominate play. Even after scoring in the 42nd minute to trail
by just a goal at half time, Kazakhstan could not get their act together
thereafter. Saudi Arabia instead went ahead in the second half with one more
goal and finish third. Fahad AlZahrani and Talal Abdulaziz were the key
players in the match as they led the Saudi Arabian attack. It was fitting
that Fahad was named the MVP of the match.
